Why am I prompted to install Adobe Flash, when I launch Fuze as an application?

If you are running Mac OS X Leopard (10.5.8) you will need to install the 32-bit Fuze Meeting application we have available. This workaround is ONLY available on the Safari web browser. Please follow the below steps to be able to launch Fuze as an application;

1. Open a Safari window.
2. Click on the Safari Menu option on the top left corner and select the Preferences option.
3. Click on the Security tab. Under the Web Content section, uncheck the box that says "Enable Java"
4. Click on the Finder icon on your Dock and select the Applications folder. If present, highlight and delete the Fuze Meeting application.
5. Install the following version by clicking on this link; https://www.fuzemeeting.com/downloads/Fuze_Meeting_32.dmg

Once the 32 bit plug-in version is installed, log into your account using the Safari browser and click the option launch Fuze as an application. If prompted to update the plug-in, cancel the update and Fuze should continue to login.

NOTE: This is a temporary workaround and we should have a fix for this issue very soon.

Any ETA on this?  It's really very annoying.

Karlin,

We do have new workflow coming for our join workflow but it is very likely we will not support Mac 10.5.  With Mountain Lion just around the corner, we are committed to suport the current OS release and two back.  Are you able to upgrade your Mac to Snow Leopard or Lion?  If so, you will be able to beta test the new workflow soon.
