Service Status and Release Notes / Version Release Notes
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Fuze delivers some new features to enhance your workday as we continue to improve the way you communicate. We’ll post full details, with Guides and FAQ, on our Tech Support site, but our upcoming 2/14 release is slated to include:
● New Admin Console: We’ve heard your feedback and are ready to release the first phase of our revamped Admin Console. Our initial iteration couples enhanced user management capability with a more streamlined design. Review accounts, access analytics and perform every day actions in one secure management center. We love to see you be the office hero, empowering flexible interactions for your colleagues, whenever they need it.
● Google Calendar Integration: Add a meeting to your existing Fuze application straight from Google Calendar and enjoy an even more seamless meeting experience. Access your colleagues' availability and quickly schedule, edit, and delete existing invites. We know that your life moves fast. Availability changes. We're here to help.
● Enhanced Telepresence Interop*: We’ve built enhanced interoperability with your legacy in-house telepresence units -- now supporting H.239 protocol (*for use with your existing Telepresence Connect licenses). Inspiration can hit anywhere -- and now, we're allowing you to share your screen from Fuze straight to telepresence units. Let the boardroom see your latest and greatest, whether you're in the next room or in New Zealand.
You can find more detailed guides in our forums: Google Calendar Plug-in; Admin Console & Enhanced Telepresence Interoperability.
*Update: 25 February 2014 enhancement to Google Calendar Chrome Extension (Fuze on Chrome) - Extension updates install automatically - following initial post-18 February 2014 download - and we've implemented a fix to ensure any meeting detail changes (from Google Calendar meeting details) are accurately reflected and notify meeting guests as desired (indicated from GCal dialog box). Meetings changed from within Fuze application do not currently reflect on Google Calendar.
