Greg Saiz Apr 30 2 System Maintenance Messages / Services Status

To our valued customers and partners,

Fuze services will receive a major upgrade on Saturday, May 19th.  To perform the upgrade, services interruptions may occur from 12:30 AM - 2:00 AM Pacific Daylight Time (7:30 AM - 9:00 UTC/GMT).  Users are strongly encouraged to login on Monday, May 20th to acquaint themselves with the new interface and features.  You may also wish to attend training classes this week to experience the change.  You can find live training on our Fuze-Ed page:  https://www.fuzebox.com/support/fuze-ed

Major Enhancements:

  • An upgraded User Interface and join workflow for Windows users.  Windows users will now get the Fuze application installed automatically if Java is detected.  If Java is not detected, users may use the new one-click installer.  Attendees will also have the option to join via browser but will not have the use of VoIP, Screen Share or HD Video Conferencing.
  • NOTE:  The Fuze application is now MANDATORY for meeting hosts on Windows - hosts may no longer use the browser interface.
  • When started by the host, HD Video Conferencing will automatically start the host camera.  Attendees will automatically see the video conference and may press play to start their own camera.
  • VoIP is now the default audio join option unless disabled by the user.
  • Over 500 fixes and smaller enhancements 

Major Fixes:

  • Fixed VRAM errors when Screen Sharing a Keynote file in presentation view
  • Fixed incorrect timezone alert for Arizona
  • Fixed a rare problem where the host can be kicked out of the meeting
  • Fixed a situation where Call Attendees sometimes disappear from the meeting
  • Fixed problems where password reset requests will sometimes fail
  • Over 500 other fixes and smaller enhancements
